Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Process

As part of the NAVBLUE Quality Management System (QMS), a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is typically conducted when any nonconformity is identified and reported wither internally or by our customers.

The RCA is the process of discovering the root causes of problems in order to identify the appropriate solution(s).

An RCA will typically be conducted by a multifunctional team (MFT) who can review the end to end process and fully apply the 5 why analysis to get to the true root cause.  Through the RCA process, corrective and/or preventative actions may be identified.

Corrective actions:  These are measures that are implemented to immediately mitigate the impact of any nonconformity.  They are typically short-term in nature.

Preventative actions: These are  actions to eliminate the cause of any nonconformity and aimed at preventing any recurrence

NAVBLUE will provide details of the RCA upon request for Urgent or High severity issues
